Ilex vomitoria

The evergreen Yaupon Holly plant is native to Florida, has very tiny leaves and works great as a shrub or tree feature.


Water Requirements: Drought tolerant once established.

Soil: Well draining soil

Growth Rate: Slow to moderate

Bloom Time: Small white flowers in spring and summer, bright red berries in winter

Soil: Sandy, well

Temperature: Cold and heat hardy. Does not lose leaves in winter.

Pruning: Can be pruned as desired. Yaupon Holly plants are easy to turn into topiary plants
