Description

Ilex x attentuata ‘East Palatka’

A cross between the Dahoon and American Holly, this is a hardy, low maintenance, and pest resistant holly variety.


Water Requirements: Moderate to low water needs. Highly drought tolerant once established.

Soil: Well-draining, acidic soil

Growth Rate: Moderate to Fast

Bloom Time: Red berries in wintertime.

Temperature: Cold hardy, does not drop leaves or berries.

Pruning: Prune in late winter or spring if needed.

Toxicity: Can cause mild irritation if ingested.
